Project Synopsis:
A
Seattle based business theatre producer subcontracted me
to design some unique animations for their client, Washington
Mutual Bank. Washington
Mutual needed one animation to advertise a new web site establlished
to honor select, valuable employees. A second animation was
needed to announce new employee honorees on a monthly basis.
For both cases, I was just given the logo name of their new
employees' honoree program... 'Strike Up The Brand!' With the
logo name in mind, I pitched a storyboard idea incorporating
a two man marching band, a limousine, and some carnival characters
marching through the streets of a large metropolis. The storyboard
as well as my script were enthusiastically approved. The marching
band theme was eventually carried over into both animations,
which are shown above. I love looking at both animations; but,
the first one packs more punch because it is complimented with
a unique sound track created by Tom Smurdon (www.NoDrums.com).
Enjoy!
